Ski Clinics

In addition to our orthopedics services offered at the Center for Orthopedics & Wellness, Barton Health operates several seasonal Ski Clinics:

These seasonal urgent care medical clinics are staffed by trained emergency medicine physicians and support medical staff who provide care and treatment for skiing, snowboarding, and sports related injuries. If you’ve injured yourself while visiting, whether skiing or otherwise, our specialists are available to help.

Clinics are open during regular ski resort hours throughout the ski season and are located at Sierra-at-Tahoe and Kirkwood Resort.*

Services at the Ski Clinics include:

• Urgent care treatment of ski and snowboard injuries
• X-rays, IV moderate sedation
• Patient ground/ airlift transport to hospitals and trauma centers
• Ski resort employee healthcare
• Ski resort employee workers comp injuries

* Heavenly Ski Resort is located in close proximity to Barton Urgent Care at Stateline Medical Center. Injured skiers/ riders should utilize the services available at Barton Urgent Care, as needed.
