Robert & Lisa Maloff
Local resident, Lisa Maloff, made a $10 million donation in memory of her late husband, Robert Maloff. The Maloffs have always had a heart for promoting wellness, activity, and fitness in the community. Mr. Maloff co-owned and operated the Lake Tahoe Inn and Timber Cove Lodge. Mrs. Maloff was one of the founding members of the Barton Hospital Auxiliary, and the couple has supported many other local endeavors.

The Fry Family
The family of the late Dr. Paul Fry II, aka "Papa Fry," donated funds for the Center’s sports performance services, including state-of-the-art hot and cold water therapy pools. When Dr. Fry, one of the area’s first orthopedic surgeons, arrived on the South Shore in 1965, he had a vision for a center of excellence, and when he died a year ago he left behind an orthopedic legacy known across the county.
