Integrative Rehabilitation Services

The Center for Orthopedics & Wellness features a rehabilitation program renowned for an expert level of physical and occupational therapy. The rehabilitation care teams are as passionate about living an active, outdoor lifestyle as you are, and will focus on getting you back to what you love as quickly (and safely) as possible.

Equipped with a comprehensive analysis lab including VO2 max, gait analysis, anti-gravity treadmills and more, we can provide each patient the opportunity to train at a higher level or prevent further injuries. While many of the services require a physician’s referral, several programs extend beyond traditional insurance models allowing for an individualized care plan.

Our outpatient rehabilitation services include:

  • Pre & post-surgical physical therapy - evaluates and treats individuals whose ability to function is impaired or threatened by disease or injury (musculoskeletal or neurological related). Procedures include exercises for strengthening, endurance, coordination, range of motion, motor activity and learning, instruction for daily living, the use of assistive devices, and the application of physical agents to relieve pain.
  • Hand, wrist & elbow injury therapy - plays a key role in the proper return of hand function following hand surgery or hand injury. We are fortunate to have the area’s only Certified Hand Therapists.
  • Occupational therapy - evaluates individuals whose ability to function is impaired or threatened by disease or injury. The focus is to regain the individual’s highest functional level of independence. The procedures include exercises for strengthening, fine motor control, range of motion, neuro-muscular re-education, cognitive exercise, ADL and adaptive training, splinting and application of physical agents to relieve pain.
  • Speech & language therapy - provides services to prevent, identify, diagnose, and treat patients in the areas of expressive and receptive language skills, swallowing, and cognitive functioning. Therapy includes coordinating care with other health care services, as well as, educating patients and family members for the highest level of rehabilitation.
  • Warm water therapy pools - the soothing properties of water provide a low-impact, regenerative treatment to help build muscle and endurance, assist with gait, and improve flexibility, balance and coordination.
