BIKE FITTING, $350 for 2 sessions

Bike fitting is geared towards clients who road bike, mountain bike, or compete in triathlons. The biomechanical analysis and cycle fitting is catered to clients who are interested in assessing their posture, flexibility, range of motion, strength, and balance on their bike. The goal of a bike fit is to optimize body positioning to maximize performance based on the rider’s recreational or competitive goals and history of injury. Our Bike Fit is designed to increase pedaling efficiency and power, improve handling performance, decrease overuse injuries, decrease saddle soreness, and reduce/eliminate back, neck, and knee pain. The bike fitting process involves a musculoskeletal evaluation and a real-time biomechanical feedback analysis of the rider’s body position and performance via Dartfish computerized performance analysis systems.

Resting metabolic rate (RMR) testing is geared toward clients who wish to identify their unique target caloric zones in order to lose weight or support their caloric needs during training. The exercise physiologist and physical therapist will advise the client as to how many calories they will need to intake in order to stay in the weight maintenance zone or the weight loss zone based on their unique resting metabolic rate (RMR). The calculated RMR will also be used to estimate calories burned during exercise and during normal activities of daily living.

VO2 Max, $200 for 2 sessions

VO2 Max testing is geared toward clients who are interested in completing a cardio fitness assessment that measures peak oxygen consumption, calories burned at different heart rates, aerobic and anaerobic threshold, as well as target intensity zones. A VO2 test measures the amount of oxygen the body uses at different exertion levels while exercising on a bike or treadmill.

Wingate Test, $75

A Wingate Test is a 30 second all-out spring performed on the Excalibur Sport Lode Ergometer. This mechanically braked cycle is renowned worldwide as the gold standard in ergometry. The rider is instructed to pedal as fast as possible while the torque remains constant at a rate depending on the body weight. Power = Torque x Velocity. Wingate testing is used to determine anaerobic power, which is the reflection of how efficiently the body's energy system gives high power for short durations.

Laser Therapy, $175 for 5 treatments | $300 for 11 treatments

Deep Tissue Laser Therapy is scientifically proven and FDA cleared to reduce pain and restore mobility. The LightForce class IV laser emits energy in the infrared spectrum deep into tissues where it can utilize your body's own healing powers by stimulating additional cellular activity. Laser therapy generates a photochemical response in damaged tissue via photobiomodulation—a process that stimulates healing on a cellular level by enabling cells to more rapidly produce energy (ATP). Laser therapy treatments are safe, painless, and fast. Treatments generally take 8-15 minutes and patients typically see results after 3-5 treatment sessions. Despite fast treatment times, laser treatments initiate a healing process that continues to actively reduce inflammation for up to 24 hours after treatment. The class IV laser is effective in treating acute pain, chronic conditions, and post-op pain.

Lower Extremity Testing, $99 for a 5-6 month testing protocol

Lower Extremity Testing is included in the R+AD and Performance Athlete memberships.

Collaborating with U.S. Ski & Snowboard, the Lower Extremity Testing helps assess leg symmetry after an injury to determine an athlete's readiness to return to play. The testing assesses balance, agility, strength, force, and power utilizing movement screens, the Y-balance test, force plates, the Optojump system, and the Wattbike.
